Homestead Exemption, don't forget!

If you purchased your home in 2010 and you live in Travis or Williamson County, it's time to file your Homestead Exemption, if you haven't already done so.

You can file your exemption between January 1 and April 30 in order to receive your homestead property tax reduction for your 2010 taxes, which are due in 2011. The exemption only has to be filed once; not annually.
