Single-family home sales and prices experienced strong gains throughout the Central Texas region in the first half of 2016, according to the June & Mid-Year 2016 Central Texas Housing Market Report released today by the Austin Board of REALTORS®.  For more info:

Austin-area home sales up 32 percent, hit 9 year high for April!

AUSTIN, Texas – May 21, 2013 – According to the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) report released today by the Austin Board of REALTORS® (ABoR), the volume of Austin-area home sales continues to rise as April became the 23rd straight month of year-over-year sales volume increases, and April saw its most home sales since 2004.

Austin Area Housing Stats Are In For August...All Things Point Up...Except Inventory!

New Listings in the Austin area increased 14% to 3,080.  Pending Sales were up 35.8% to 2,525. Inventory levels shrank 22.3% to 8,763 units, with 4.1 months of supply.

Prices moved higher. The Median Sales Price increased 9.1% to $209,000.  Days on Market was down 25.4% to 57 days.
